Q: What sort of apartments and amenities are available?

A: Our apartments feature Studio, Alcove, one bedroom apartments, and two bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, individually controlled heating and cooling and 24 emergency call system.

 

All residents will have access to the Clubhouse and Bistro as well as planned activities, scheduled transportation and amenities such as dining, beauty and barber salon, library, computer center, activity and recreation rooms, fitness center, theater, cable TV, and our patio garden areas.

Q: What if my health changes and I need personal assistance?

A: All Personal Care Services at The Avenue are planned with the understanding that residents individual needs can change over time.

 

Resident service plans are created and reviewed on a regular basis with the involvement of the resident, family members, and key staff members to ensure the appropriateness of the direction, scope, and degree of the services being provided.

 

Charges for Individual personal care service plans are determined through an assessment process using a point based scoring method. Points are determined by the frequency and duration of your individual service needs, as well as direct and indirect cost of the personnel performing the service. The assessment will reflect a point total and a total charge for the services provided.

 

You may add, cancel, or modify services as your needs change. And best of all you pay for only the services you need. This method most accurately ensures that the charge for care services fees directly reflects your personal and individual service needs.

Q: What about parking for me and my visitors?

A: Indoor parking is available at the Avenue to residents on a first come first served basis for a nominal monthly charge. Short term visitor parking is also available for your visitors on a first come first served basis.

Q: What are The Avenue's rates, lease terms and financial arrangements?

A: The Avenue is a rental community. You have the right to cancel at anytime with a 15 day or 30 day notice depending on your circumstances. We do not require any large up front investment, endowment or buy-in.

A: We are located on the southwest corner of Van Ness Avenue and Geary Street. In the heart of San Francisco

Q: Sounds great! How do I sign up?

A. Simply stop by for a presentation of the community and available units, and together we'll select the apartment that makes the most sense for you and your specific needs.  Moving in can happen the same day.
